It is my understanding that Automotive Journalist Pat Ganahl passed due to an accident while driving the restored Ike Iacono GMC powered dragster.My condolences to his family.R.I.P. sir.

I saw that over on the HAMB. Many pointed out that cars of that era had zero crash protection to the drivers, and even back in the day, light to mild accidents often ended in serious injury or fatalities. RIP Pat...
