Just thought I'd post some pics of my bike I have been working on.
It's a 1986 Yamaha Fazer 700 CC, got it with a blown up engine.
They made about 75 HP IIRC.
They were called a baby V-Max.

Now I installed a 1987 FZR 1000 engine that made 135 HP.
I also changed out a lot of other things.
I painted it Blue Lagoon ,dedicated it that color for my wife that totaled her Blue Lagoon Jetta GLI, (she really liked that car)

Made a carbon fiber gas tank cover.

I know I know, get back to my turbo project. wink

Looks nice. How does it run with the bigger engine?
You did change quite a bit of parts out.

Thanks.
It needs some jetting changes, jets are being shipped currently.

It had a stock GSXR 1000 muffler & ran pretty good.
I just installed a old Vance & Hines straight through muffler, & not it idles rough, runs like beep! AKA crappy.

I am hoping it will do 10's in the 1/4 mile when it is all running good.

I have a turbo for it, but that will be for later down the road.
EFI also, we will see. I might just leave it alone.

A 135 hp motorcycle is a handful many two hands full, I don't care who you are. When you are only touching the road in two spots as big as your palms things can get exciting in a hurry. My old 25 hp YDS2 scared the crap out of me a few times. You have done a good job with that.

Thanks Beater,

When running good it should feel pretty quick, & you are correct 135 HP should be a handful.

I had a new 03 GSXR 1000 w/150 HP & that was a real handful, could not get on the throttle too quick while leaning/turning, it would lite up the tire & slide if you wanted to.

Now, the new GSXR 1000 makes 182 HP.
That's 182 HP per liter.
If only our old 4.1 Liter 250 inline 6 could make 728+ HP naturally aspirated. laugh
