Antique 1/4 mile Drag Race the Auto Club Dragway 9300 Cherry Ave., Fontana, CA. Gates open at 8 am on Sat. May 11th.

Pre-1974 vehicles. Race cars must pass tech inspection :seat belt, approved helmet, good tires, dual return springs on accel. linkage. Open cars running 13.99 sec or quicker need approved roll bar. All open cars require arm restraints. Adults $20, Kids under 15 free, Racers tech cards $50.

Great event for Inliners and many participate.

The website www.autoclubdragway.com has details about the May 11, 2019 event. Also, YouTube has many videos showing past races and the the types of cars that show up. You will get a good idea of the atmosphere from the videos.

I've been going since 2007 with my 40 Chevy/GMC. The bracket racing format is used. The morning is for time trials. The afternoon is for eliminations by time bracket.

It is really a great event and worth the trip from Az. Hope to see you there.

I am sorry to say the race was cancelled due high threat of rain. No Make up race will take place. Have to wait another year.
